Students admitted to the first year of the management programmes are from assorted
streams. For the smooth integration of students in the programme, regular counselling
sessions are arranged.

The significance of sports and cultural activities equally with academics is well
known. The Institute ensures that the students take active participation in extra-curricular
activities like sports, culture, recreation etc. Sports facilities, both indoors
and outdoors, are available on the Campus. Annual Sports Events are conducted during
the month of February every year.
The Institute provides a platform to reflect the students hidden talents. Cultural
activities which include music, drama, fashion shows, dance etc bring the students
close to the rich Indian culture and also develop a sense of unity. This also breaks
the monotony of routine life of existence.

A grand cultural concert is the highlight of the Annual Gathering: DHOOM.
Students
show their immense talent in the skits, solo & group songs and dance sequences
as well as mimicry. Inspirational speeches by various eminent personalities is a
hallmark of the function. Awards and prizes are presented to all the achievers. |

Aero Sports & Adventure Activities

Sports like Horse Riding and Rock Climbing are promoted. Picnics & trekking
expeditions are conducted to places like Rajgad , Sinhagad , Torna & Shivneri
forts & other beautiful places around Pune as a part of value-add-on programme. |

Dr. S. Radhakrishnan's birthday is celebrated as 'Teachers Day' throughout India.
Teachers Day is celebrated by the Institute on 5th September by paying tribute to
Dr. S. Radhakrishnan,a great teacher and philosopher. |

Ganesh Festival
|
|
Ganesh festival is celebrated with great vigour. Lord Ganesha's idol is worshiped
at the campus and hostels for 10 days with holistic rituals. The immersion procession
on the 10th day is a grand finale with students from all cross-M sections, participating
and thus, reflecting harmony among all. |

Dandiya
|
|
Dandiya is the occasion to rejoice with dance and music. Every year Dandiya is celebrated
by the students with gusto. Nine days of 'Navaratri' reverberate
with the celebrations. |
